Last weekend my wednesday night hockey league participated in the Stick it to Cancer Tournament that is a fundraiser for Breast Cancer. We skated on pink ice, which proved a little hard to see the crease, but was festive. Our team raised over $2000 to go toward Breast Cancer Research. We lost our first game 4-3 (the other team clearly had a ringer) and our second game we lost 2-0, but our finally game we took it up a notch and posted a 5-0 win. This is a fun group of ladies with the majority of ages being 40-55. Our team name is Stickin With It, but Braeden decided we needed a mascot of the Eagles. The kids were troopers for the weekend. Laken took a nap almost every game, Braeden enjoyed giving me advice afterward and Preston's highlight was winning two items out of the crane game at the rink.
