Next, brought a Mani/Pedi party. Laken even took part in the festivities. She loved the sparkly polish she picked out and sat so well. It was so cute watching the lady carry her to the waiting area after she was all painted. Afterward, we headed to
Later that evening I had the pleasure of throwing Chrissy a Mad Men (AMC hit TV Series) themed bachelorette party. I requested everyone dress in the that time period clothing (late 50s, early 60s) and everyone did ;-D
The signature drink for the evening was Sweet Brandy Old Fashioned, per Chrissy's request and to fit the theme of the night.
I bequeathed this gem to Chrissy. I had to wear it out for my party and I thought it would look very attractive on Chrissy if she did the same. Plus, I had to figure out some way to embarrass the woman. After all, that is what this all about. We also played bowling with male part pins, had wind up male parts that we raced and played bachelorette mad libs. We also had fun snacks to fit the theme: Utz chips, mini pigs in a blanket and melba toast.
We then ventured out to Chino Latino in Uptown Minneapolis with Bumpits in play. Since I was a 1st timer to this restaurant, Chrissy introduced me to Saki bombs. A shot that it hoisted above beer on chopsticks and you chant and bang on the table until the shot falls in and then, slam it. Afterward, you get to wear the cool bands we are wearing in the pic.
Next was out to the bars were our night was cut short due to a Carrie/Head incident which thankfully turned out to be nothing more than a good laugh.
