"If you spend the majority of your days in the company of babies, toddlers, tweens or teens, then your happiness will be directly proportional to your ability to laugh often and enjoy the chaos. The child-rearing years, in particular, are meant to be hectic, playful, and fun!"

Swimming Lessons with Neighborhood Friends

The Boys took swimming lessons at the Country Club for two weeks in June. Preston's class was filled with neighbors and friends, so he had as much fun socializing, as he did swimming (so, did mom). He made great progress from day one where he sat on the steps much of the time and was not eager to participate in any of the activities. He is a much more confident swimmer now and can swim all over the place if he has a life jacket or floaty. Braeden loved lessons and had a friend, Marie, in his class (she is one of the girls who sang a church solo, too). Braeden is getting better at his backstroke and more confident in the deep end. He loves diving for things and always has to have his googles.
