"If you spend the majority of your days in the company of babies, toddlers, tweens or teens, then your happiness will be directly proportional to your ability to laugh often and enjoy the chaos. The child-rearing years, in particular, are meant to be hectic, playful, and fun!"

Braeden's 1st Communion

Braeden received his 1st Holy Communion on Sunday, May 15th. It was very special day for us. Braeden received his communion wine in very special cup that he got to keep.

It was also Early Childhood Sunday, so Laken's preschool class sang, too! She did an awesome job!

Of course, we had to take family pictures afterward with all the special people in attendance....

including Braeden's fairy godmother. (Who incidentally is due in Dec., yeah!)

After the church service we were able to celebrate Trinity Nursery School's 45th Anniversary. What a blessing to have such an amazing preschool as part of our church family. I'm so thankful that this program has grown my little disciples. We were treated to a luncheon and a puppet show with an elephant and a skunk puppet as some of the favorites.

It was a gorgeous day for outdoor gift opening. We gave Braeden a hockey necklace that says, "With God All Things Are Possible."
